Komal Sharma, a fourth-year graduate student from Prof. Richard Hooley’s lab, has been selected to receive the 2026 Richard R. Schrock Graduate Award. The selection committee noted Komal’s outstanding work in synthesizing biomimetic self-assembled metal-organic cages which overcome many common self-assembly limitations and are catalytically active. This award was generously endowed by Richard and Nancy Schrock to recognize intellectual and scientific achievement.
