UCR Chemistry is ranked 41st worldwide (25th in US) in the Academic Rankings of World Universities for 2015. This result is an improvement from 47th in 2014, which itself was an improvement from 51-75 in 2012 & 2013. ARWU uses six indicators, including - the number of highly cited researchers, and per capita performance. More than 1200 universities are ranked by ARWU every year.
