Erik Romero was UCR's recipient of the American Chemical Society Undergraduate Award for 2014. Erik carried out his undergraduate research in Prof. Morton's laboratory. Erik's University Honors Program (UHP) thesis was of high quality, embodying not only his research at UCR, but also his work at Los Alamos National Laboratory (supported by a 2013 UCR MARCU* fellowship). Erik is attending UCSD for his chemistry PhD.
